In the original track you can hear he doesn't just restart with the open E twice but instead when the riff restarts he plays second fret A and then one open E (as opposed to two open E's). It gives the song some more movement in case anyone else noticed it sounded slightly off and felt off playing it that way

As a newbie, I’m just jumping right into this. I’m definitely struggling with the transitions between chords as I’m struggling to find my finger placement.
