In 99 teachers wouldn't let us just go to the bathroom. I suffered from intense migraines since i was little. I asked for permission multiple times to go i was going to get sick. The last no i upchucked all over the teacher which in turn caused a chain reaction of barfing. I never had to ask to go again😂

When i was in 8th grade the school had this thing called PRO and it was something like positive respectul responsible and whatever but a poster of it was in every classroom and every hallway and all the teachers had to tell us to "be a PRO!" every damn day so when we had a pep rally a couple months later the principal decided to end it with "dont forget to be a PRO" and i guess most people had enough because almost everyone started booing the principal. She made the 7th and 8th graders stay even though the 6th graders were booing too and yelled at us that it was inappropriate, disrespectful, immature and that anyone who got detention, isp, or suspension once after that day would never get to go to any of the dances, field trips, and end of school thing that year. That was her first and last year as principal.

In my school there was a rule where students couldn't go to the bathroom in 1st and 4th class (there were 5 of them, 50 mins each with a break between 3rd and 4th). The teacher that introduces it to us said that is was "Her right as a teacher" to not let sudents do what they need to. After she said that, my classmate, whose mother was a lawyer threatened to sue her and the school.

After that day, that teacher always asked right after entering the classroom if anyone needed to go to the bathroom, and no other teacher taked the rule seriously.

Honestly pulling fire alarms was such a huge thing in my dorms i don't blame them for adding the rule. It would be 4 am and some drink kids would evacuate the whole building while it was snowing.

An actual thing that happened in my school was lunch detention which whoever was in lunch detention had to clean a lot bit this backfired because we would skip class and also some staff members showed gratitude by giving us soda and stuff and then now there's no more lunch detention
