I don't forage and don't live near a coast, but I am obsessed with this channel. Living vicariously though TFL!

As a fellow conservationist fisherman and hunter, I want to say just how pleased I am to see a man who is respectful to nature that you are. I can see the care that you taken or to harm anything even the creatures you take to eat. You sir are a true sportsman. Forage on good Sir.

Eh up John It's great to see the turning of the season, where before it's been blowin a hoolie and your unable to get out on the boat, yet just a few weeks later the Spring tides bring new foraging grounds to help put food on the table. That soft lobster was stunning, natures paint selection is breath-taking and you wouldn't believe old dull Britain could hold such beauty in it's depths.
As always thank you for the knowledge you impart and the clear way you explain everything a non fisherman can use to bring in delicious seafood for the table. Love to the family and keep safe and spread the message around the globe X

Once again. You have amazed us. My family loves these as we cannot experience these on our own. But you and your family have broadened our world. Thank you! ❤❤❤

Thanks for showing the seaweed so close I've often looked and listened to you explaining the different seaweeds but haven't been able to see the difference between some of these. Thanks for sharing your knowledge 🥰

What an interesting trip. To see the soft lobster was fantastic, also to hear about its eating the shield and of course it does but it is so interesting to hear about. And then there is all the sea weeds, I am always so impressed that you know all the names and know so much about them. Thank you again for your wonderful videos John. All the best to you and your family.

I’ve been addicted to your videos since I discovered your channel. You’re such a likeable, enthusiastic guy and very knowledgeable! I was curious if marine biology is what you do as a career or if it is just a hobby?

Thank John for another very interesting and very informative video. I know what you mean about people just walk past such wonderful flora and fauna and are oblivious of the wondrous nature about them. Great explanation of the soft shell lobster and his hard shelled brother!!

Brilliant pal!! I'm from land locked Stafford in the Midlands and I envy anyone who understands the land that they forage.. You're the first person to show the anatomy/growth cycle of a lobster... Talk about true blue! I did wonder why some were blue and others were black in varying sizes... David Attenborough eat your heart out!! I know more about the Galapagos than my own Island!!
Credit where it's due pal.. That was an amazing forage!!!
