Rock pooling and Beachcombing after bad weather can be really interesting. You honestly never know what you might find. In this video I identify and explain many different seaweeds and underwater sea creatures. Including a species I have never seen before.

Don't forget to check out our sister channel @thefishlockerworkshop for helpful reviews and videos.

I am going to be taking James and some of his classmates out for some shoreline education sessions in the summer. If we have any dates free would anyone else be interested? Government restrictions allowing of course. 😊

I could watch these for hours at a time. Your respect for the sea and it’s creatures is truly wonderful. Thank you for sharing these adventures with us!

I don't even live close to the sea and still am mesmerized by watching your videos and how connected you are to nature. Thank you so much for sharing all these insights. I now even think about traveling to Cornwall some one day.

Hey John - Been watching your content for well over a year now, and just wanted to say thank you for the peace and serenity you bring me. What's more, is it's been a large contributing factor to me going back into education to try and become an ecologist/marine ecologist. Thank you.

Another great video John, I came initially for the fishing but now addicted to the foraging videos. My kids love spending hours in the rock pools around us (Padstow way) and your videos have enabled me to sound like I know what I’m talking about 😁

It was so cute how the squat-lobster seemed so much calmer around you after you removed its parasite. I know I'm anthropomorphizing the little critter, but it always feels like creatures are saying _'Thank you!'_ when they do that~

I grew up in an Island bit I'm still amazed every time I watch this kinds of videos. So beautiful and refreshing to watch.

I rcognise the shore, if i'm right, back in 1950/55 we used to play on the old beached German U boats, probably some remains still there somewhere.

(A) only marked down because it was too short! Always brilliant, educational and relaxing add to that great commentary and filming. Nice that your taking James and other children out on the beach to educate them. It used to happen when I was in primary school in the very early sixties, it should be part of the curriculum and coupled with education on litter and the need to conserve, perhaps the future would be in better hands.

Hi John.
I'll have to come down your way and go for a forage to get some green snake locks for my native marine aquarium series I'm doing. All the best Mark

These videos of yours are absolutely wonderful. It's great to go beachcombing with you and so interesting to listen to your commentary. How did you ever learn so much about coastal environment?

I love your videos all the way from the center of New York State. I love them all but the diving vids are my absolute favourite! Thank you all the time!

I've been watching for months but I still really appreciate your "basic" videos like this with the scientific names and such. I have worked on inland waters so this ocean stuff is new to me. Thanks for your hard work on the vids.
