I never, ever get bored of these clips. It's like looking through a window into a day in these people's lives so long ago, that for them was another day full of tasks, appointments and meetings. Thank you for bringing these long gone times back to life, if only for a minute.

I knew a relative who was alive in those days, She passed when I was 16 in the 80's. She always used to tell me about those days - but the 16 year old me had no interest .It was just old peoples talk. What I would give to hear her stories today in 2024.

I often wonder what were their plans for the day, what a person was thinking in this moment. Beautiful, thank you.

Everyone looks so distinctively dressed. No one in a huge hurry. Relaxed and no stress just walking along.

Personally 100 years ago people were well dressed, elegant but yet modest

I was standing today in this very place in New York City watching this video while holding up my ipad to the building. It was a very crazy experience. Strangers stopped to see it with me and one woman shouted "Oh my God!" like I was feeling. Amazing.

122 years ago. Amazing. And sad to know that everyone in this footage is long since deceased.

These clips are somehow therapeutic. Oh how I wish I had a time machine. To be able to have a conversation with someone from so long ago, to really know what life was like.

I’d love to be able to travel back in time to see this…if only for a little while. The world looked so much simpler then. So dapper.

Notice how most people of all ages were wearing hats? Loved the ladies elegant dresses. No tramps in plain view such as today!

122 años tiene este video filmado en Nueva York, y la calidad de color para su época es increíble, cómo no!
