Rates of early onset cancer diagnosis in people 18 to 49 years of age has gone up 79% over the past three decades. Dr. William Li (world renown cancer researcher) and Dr. Casey Means (metabolic disease specialist) join Jillian to explain the root of what is causing cancer and subsequently what we can do about it. Could The Pill for young women be playing a role in hormone-sensitive breast cancers? Could glyphosate be linked to cancers of the digestive system (colon cancer, stomach cancer, esophageal cancer etc.) From lifestyle interventions we can implement immediately, to the most cutting edge therapies to treat cancer - no stone is left unturned.

I was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma in my left lung in August of 2023. I started immunotherapy treatments in November of 2023. By February of 2024 a pet scan revealed that my tumor was gone. I'm still being treated but I've had several pet scans since and I'm cancer free. It's absolutely miraculous.

50 years ago in 1974 when I was 7 years old I had a type of bone cancer called Osteosarcoma and l was one of the first to get a bone transplant when they removed the cancer, it was just above my left knee and they did a great job because I have logged over hundred and two thousand seven hundred miles I didn't start running until I was almost 25 that is an average of about 8.6 miles a day for going on 33 years I started running on December 1st 1991

Given that the thymus' production of t-cells naturally starts to decline after age 50, does this mean the new treatments are geared toward younger patients only or for all age groups?

How about instead of vaccinations we do immune therapy once a year

"We're at the tip of the ice burg". "We're taking a look at this". There are advancements, but most of what he's saying is way off in the future. Medicine should be far more advanced than it was forty years ago, but in the scheme of it all its actually not.

The first time he said it, I thought he was just being racially insensitive but when he said it again I knew it was an intentional microaggression. I thought Jillian was an ally. Unsubscribed.
