This is my husband 😂 was a server for only a year but it permanently altered his restaurant etiquette lol. The “I told you to look online before we left” is on point

those of us living on a server’s wage but still tipping extra when we go out bc fellow server’s deserve it. solidarity

There is no resisting the instinct to be someone's "easiest customer of the day" if you've been in their shoes before, no matter how long ago you were. I haven't waited a table for the better part of a decade now and still, if I walk into a new restaurant and notice it's within an hour of closing time I'll immediately turn around, walk out, and go to a different one.

I loved the part where the main character said "Text". It was beautiful, motivational, inspiring and truly heartwarming. Thank you for making this video. It has truly changed my outlook on life

Jerry Seinfeld said once parents get to a certain age they will always be extremely confused any time a waiter comes to the table

My favourite part of the short was when the guy said "It's Texting time!" and then Text'd all over the room. Truely one of the moments of the short.

The power of empathy. Knowing someone's pain and actively trying to lessen it.

You are good people, even if you end up freaking some servers out haha.

I got a big soft spot for this guy. I could be having the worst day ever and see just one of these clips and 100% of the time I'm smiling. Thank you kind sir.

Adding a decent tip when eating out with a dad or grandpa paying is so relatable.

Ex-Server adding extra money because others don’t understand is so accurate.

Stacked plates are ALWAYS the sign of a good table/someone who works in the industry. Good times man good times

The mom wasn't wrong for telling them she didn't order onion with her food.

Look, “text” is code for “hilarious ending”

I love this so much because I can relate as a former food service worker, but it also translates into other customer service arenas I’ve been in such as retail and hospitality. I am SO much more patient and understanding with all these situations because I’ve lived through them! Practicing the Golden Rule has helped a lot.

The dad saying "Let's rock n roll" is the most realistic part of this 😭😭

As a former dishwasher I always stack my plates and put the utensils in a pile. It makes it easy for the busser and takes a good 5 minutes of work away from the dishwasher. And trust me for a dishwasher 5 minutes can be the difference between being swamped with dishes and staying ahead of the rush. If you know you know

Aww, Aaron gets married and has a (much smarter) kid

I’ve never served, I’ve just been stacking the dishes since I was kid. My parents didn’t even do that, I just assumed the servers would appreciate it.
