0:00 Dizziness has three main causes (plus: how to fix them!)
1:40 There are solutions for everything!

Although there are many different causes of dizziness, I’m going to talk about the three main ones in this video.

First: low blood sugar. When your blood sugar drops too low, you can get dizzy. If so, add more fat to your meal. You’ll be able to go longer without crashing your blood sugar. Or, you can slow down your intermittent fasting. Start with three meals, no snacks, and gradually go to two. This is temporary when you start keto.

Second: low blood pressure. This can happen from your body shedding water as you start keto. You won’t have your usual volume of fluid to maintain blood pressure. You need more sea salt.

Third: low adrenals. Your adrenals help your body adapt to positional stress. If you get up too fast, or climb stairs, you can get dizzy because your adrenals aren’t strong enough to push the blood pressure up to your brain. I put a link below for suggestions to help strengthen your adrenal glands.

I had some dizziness and vertigo while doing keto and it turned out to be a brain tumor (not at all related to keto). Just want people to know that if some of these things don't work please get checked. Don't take it lightly!!

OMG dr. Berg, you’re the best... I had positional vertigo for 3 years and I thought it was caused by my overweight but it finally went away after a few months of being on Keto. I was under extreme stress and I focused on my adrenals along with Keto and IF and it went away completely. I also take lots of your supplements and I’m doing great with my weight loss... thank you so much for this video because I finally understand the underlying condition for my vertigo problem

We need more info on dizziness and vertigo. It seems to be almost an epidemic these days. I myself am one of the victims. I've been to several specialist and they think they know one cause (arthritis in a disc in my neck), but say it's being caused by more than one thing. They don't know what the other thing is. It can wreck your life and the number suffering from this is growing.

*Yes, this works!!!! I suffered for almost 2 weeks the first time; thought life as I knew it was over for me as well as everyone I take care of. Tried the other one where you fall backward, etc. It made it worse. Found this one and was cured in a half hour (I needed to repeat it). Next day a little dizzy, so did it again and no episodes for a couple years. Woke up this morning (after a cheese binge last night; fills my ears with fluid) dizzy. Did the Somersault and it was gone again!!*

Thank you! I really needed this! I've been doing keto very well, and with 2 meals a day for a couple of months, but the two times I tried to do OMAD, I had a hypoglycemic attack. I don't have diabetes or eat sugar. i seem to be able to make it 21 or 22 hours before I feel afraid of passing out. Glad to hear this can be healed! Also, add dehydration and anxiety to the list of dizziness causes.

I treat this often in my practice ( Im an RMT). In my experience it’s often resolved by releasing the trigger points in the sternocleidomastoid muscle.

I use pink Himalayan salt (coarse rocks). I've been told that has more trace minerals than sea salt? Thoughts?
