If you don’t know what a Galaxy Note is, it’s basically the reason your smartphone’s gotten bigger with each upgrade. Today, Samsung's oversized and overpowered phablet family gets a sixth generation – and it's called the Galaxy Note 7. Samsung says that skipping the "6" brings it in line with the Galaxy S7's branding, and the similarity to the smaller smartphone is striking indeed – especially on the spec sheet. With a much larger screen and the signature S Pen stylus, the Galaxy Note 7 is still a different beast – but has the Note line lost some of its luster this year? People keep saying the iris scanner is useless, what if it's winter and you have you're gloves on, would the fingerprint scanner be more convenient and faster than the iris scanner? This is also applicable for any cold country where you have to wear gloves which renders the fingerprint scanner a step or two slower. This is a good feature to have when I go skiing or even snow boarding!

That iris scanner is really useful when you sweat a lot from a workout and your fingerprint scanner doesn't read your fingerprint correctly from the water.

In 2018 where there's iPhone 10, S8, Note 8 & S9 Plus, this phone's design is still my favourite. Nothing comes close to the way how symmetrically perfect this was.

It's really unfortunate that it had to be cancelled this way.

the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is, now was, the best android phablet of 2016. it's one flaw made it's one downfall, the fault in the battery causing it to overheat and catch fire/explode. Hopefully this fault in the Note 7 doesn't kill the Note line for Samsung, but we'll have to wait and see in future installments from Samsung.

The Iris scanner is for when you have gloves on. Useful for people who live in cold places. Or for when you're cooking in the kitchen or when your hands are wet or dirty in general.

LG has a chance to one up Samsung with the LG V20. This release is a let down. Might as well buy an S7 Edge. That blue does look dope though.

A tempting phone, but i would have liked an upgrade on the processor and camera, and having a smaller battery than the S7 Edge is slightly disappointing. I look forward to the full review.

pre-ordered mines yesterday upgrading from a s6edge can't wait honestly, nothung compares to the s pen it makes everything so much easier . phone is amazing we have came a long way in the tech world and people still find things to complain about .
