Finally I thought, we are starting to do field soil preparation and plant the newly created food plots! A beautiful sunny day down here in Southern Illinois, several pieces of very strategic equipment, the new food plot clearings are done, so it is now GO TIME! Join us for today's episode on how we begin to tackle the soil preparation and planting of the new food plots! Of course, as usual, things did not go according to plan! My imatch quick attach ended up coming loose after only the 2nd pass with the home made chisel disc/harrow! Being stuck out in the field with limited tools, I was literally stuck in the dirt! So I started troubleshooting the problem. One of the 2 lower 3 point arms on the quick attach came undone from the chisel disc. So I started troubleshooting the implement issues to try to get back up and running on my own with limited resources out in the field. Of course (very ironically) that morning I actually looked at my sledge hammer that I usually keep in my truck bed, and thought 'should I load it back into the truck bed?' And of course I decided not to! Anyway, with some help from Curtis and our teamwork brainstorming join us to see how we tackled this tractor impelment issue and got things back up and running to get the food plot soil preparation back up and running! Thanks for joining us today and as always if you enjoyed this video please hit the like button, and consider subscribing to join us on all kinds of unique land adventures and also share it with your friends or others who might enjoy tagging along for all of our land management and country living adventures! Be sure to stay tuned for the next episode as we will finally make some REAL progress in the food plot soil preparation and planting process! Never had any luck with that style quick hitch, and they don’t fit half the implements.
I put the Pat’s quick hitch system on, and it’s been flawless.

It's easy to come loose but sure can be a pain to reattach. Good that you got it back on and back in business.

Dont know if you have the hook ends on your lift arms but they act just like a quick hitch an much stronger an more reliable 💪👍

It’s frustrating when something comes loose and it takes a chunk of time to get it hooked back up

Maybe wrap them in rubber bungee cords
