As a Native Northern Californian, have been there many times in my 68 years. Yosemite is an amazing world all it's own. I love the redwoods up above Eureka just as much, Avenue of the Redwoods is amazing. Growing up mama would make fried chicken and we'd picnic up there then go to Eureka where my dad grew up and To where my grandma grew up (1888-1987) all through Humbolt county. The little Red Schoolhouse she and her siblings went to is still standing. If you ever get the chance, visit Northern California is like another country compared to the glitz of Southern Ca. Majestic Trees, gorgeous coastal ocean areas and the nicest locals anywhere.

Awe inspiring! Takes your breath away. I know these trees are hundreds of years old and they've seen & survived many things. My prayer is that they arent destroyed by man. Pollution, fires, etc
