The Authority On All Things R&B !
On this week's episode of The R&B Money Podcast, Tank and J Valentine sit down with jack of all trades, Marques Houston. From a young age of just 9 years old, Marques was already dipping his toes into the entertainment industry, thanks to the visionary producer Chris Stokes who discovered him and put together a boy band that would rival Marques's favorite group at the time, Another Bad Creation. Marques's band, Immature, later reimagined as IMX, served as a springboard for many of today's biggest stars and was an inspiration to an entire generation of R&B.

Marques will take us on a journey spanning over 30 years in the entertainment industry, having learned every aspect of the business, from singing and acting to even ironing clothes for his co-creation, B2K. He will serve us with stories of his solo success, escaping the teenage typecast, and even his close call with the law for the Naked box. Listen and Enjoy, Marques Houston on The R&B Money Podcast

Marques Houston doesn't get enough credit for his accomplishments at such a young age . Tank & J Valentine are preserving R n B history . Much love !

Oh Wow! I just watched "Uncensored" with Marques Houston and he spoke about Tank taking writing the song "Naked" for him, and he became respected as a man in the music industry. That song right there....Whew!!! Babeeee...One of my favorites! I had no idea Tank wrote that song!!

This makes so much sense! I’m so excited to hear this man’s journey. Marques Houston has been doing it a time! He did his thing in House Party 3 and I remember those lines to this day! He played a pivotal part in a lot of 80s/90s kids childhood and teen experience. Been following this man’s entire career and Saturday is going to be nice. Hope he’s in the chat.

Makes sense... Alfonso R. Was just talking about this exact thing where no matter where he goes or has done, he's still CARLTON...

And sadly there is no sister sister reunion show because of the networks and ownership issues but the cast were all up for it

aside from his indiscretion I never put Roger and Batman and marques Houston together even though I knew they were the same person. He did a great job separating the three
