Every tuxedo is a suit, but not every suit is a tuxedo. Also Tuxedo jackets only have jetted pockets, peaked or shawl lapels, traditionally no vent and they have their own type of shirt

It doesn't have to be a satin weave. It can also be grosgrain. And usually the tux-fabric is mohair or barathea. And always wear a waistcoveirng with a tuxedo- either a waistcoat or a cummer und.
