You weren't joking. This is a hard one to find. Did locate one in france but dunno if I could go through the nightmare of importing it.

This orchid looks absolutely wonderful, what a beautiful size you’ve let it grow to :) been looking for someone that can give me a cutting, but it seems that in the Netherlands no one has this plant. Such a shame, it seems that even though it is fairly big and unruly the looks and scent should more than make up for it :)
What are your minimum temperatures for this plant if I may ask?

Hi Howard, following watching this video of yours, I fell in love with this bulbophyllum and bought it and got it today. It's been planted in sphagnum, wondered if the media is good for it or shall I change it to bark or mount it? Any advice in the care is highly appreciated.

How would you even begin to repot something like this?

WARNING! :D I have bought this plant as Bulbophyllum elassonotum from Hennis in Germany and... IT STINKS! :D It is the second day, the fragrance can really fill up an entire room, but to my nose it is like sour plastic. Asked my wife: WC-stone. Mother: Burned/cut plastic. Daughter (7 years): Kokos, maybe Hmmm.. I hope the fragrance develops a bit, but to me it is stinky. I will keep you updated, if anything has changed. This could be a variety thing. My flowers seem to be more yellow, the plant seems to be smaller & no experience with the colour of new growths. It could also be a my nose thing: Wanted to buy a Dendrobium parishii; went with my wife to the nursery, got a sniff: To me it was like artificial rhapsberries; asked my wife: mustard. :D Now I am a proud owner of a Dendrobium Nestor, wife: "Nice! Rhapsberries!" ...In my words: WTF... But, orchids and fragrances, a beautiful, sometimes funny thing... I, in my experience, can only join with the recommendation: Buy sniffed, if you can! The Cherry Baby has nothing chocoletty to me, unless your chocolate is made of vanilla and no cocoa. But the sotoanum has a cocoa note in it. And the Twinkle stinks of eggwhite to me. Ah, fragrances...
