Ukraine: Video of drone strike on Kerch bridge

CNN has obtained exclusive video of a July attack which perhaps is fueling some of Russia's desire to wreak some kind of revenge on the Ukrainian civilian population. That was an attack on the Kerch bridge that runs between occupied Crimea and the Russian mainland.

So, based on the video, it appears the boats that attacked the Kerch Strait bridge approached from the Black Sea. That disproves one of the conjectures that the boats were secretly carried on a larger vessel and were dropped off in the Sea of Azov after passing under the bridge. That means they likely stealthily sailed from Ukrainian territory under their own power. Impressive.

I can’t believe that after the bridge was targeted, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova labeled the attack an “act of terrorism” on social media. She said “There can be no justification for such barbaric actions and they will not go unanswered.” She wrote this in a post on Telegram. After Russia attacked Ukrainian blocks of flats, houses, hospitals and other neutral targets with all manner of missiles and bombs, killing innocent civilians, this spokeswoman has the brass neck to say that. How stupendously hypocritical can anybody get?
