We tried to lose our son a couple weeks ago on a cruise. He wouldn't leave our side. He's 30! 🤣

After 22 years in law enforcement, I can describe in detail the bad things people do to kids. Just go to one autopsy and you'll never let your kids roam a store, a mall or a cruise ship.

My humble opinion. I'm a parent of a 9yr and I think this is by far one of your best videos. Takes courage to tell people what they don't want to hear even though is the truth 💯.

GREAT post, Tony! Glad to see, you have the 'cajones' to call out bad parents! SO many people are so scared to say these things. Discipline is important in raising kids.

I was seated next to a family where the five kids screamed and constantly yelled. Thankfully they were kicked out on the third day. When adjoining table’s asked the parents to control their kids the response was “we’re on vacation”. I was just happy I didn’t have a cabin near them.

Flip side: I have often encountered very well-behaved kids and attentive parents on cruise ships. If possible, I always try to compliment the parents on their kids' behavior Several months ago we cruised on MSC Seashore and were seated in the main dining room near a young couple with a toddler, He was a joy to have around and they did a great job keeping him quietly entertained. There was a language barrier so we got a small toy for the little gentleman at the ship's gift shop. The toy and the implied compliment were clearly understood and appreciated. Just a thought: rewarding good behavior is sometimes more effective than punishing miscreants.

Let’s be clear, there are bad parents all over, they don’t just get that way when they board a cruise ship.

Amen! They decide their vacation means a vacation from their kids and let them run wild all over the ship. Anything could happen to that kid and they will blame the cruiseline for it.

I carefully plan my cruises to avoid school holidays, take longer cruises, anything I can do to avoid cruises that will have large amounts of children. I have heard way to many stories about "cruise parents"

One of my adult daughters has a whole notebook in her head of our bad parenting moments and loves to bring them up in conversation!

If you're talking about the woman who missed the Norwegian Breakaway, I was on that cruise. They did everything not to leave her, and they MADE her husband get off and go look for her. They gave him something like 30 minutes to find her. The ship left late waiting for them. They were travelling with a lot of other family, so those kids still had plenty of people there. We always watch during sail away to see if there are any pier runners.

It's just great when parents decide to take a break from parenting and allow their free-range kids to ruin everyone else's vacation.

We never separated ourselves from our son while cruising when he was little. The only time he was out of our sight was when he went to the kids club for a couple of hours. Otherwise if we went ashore then we all went or we all stayed onboard.

Bravo Tony!!! Thanks for bringing this up. You as a parent chose to have these kids, you better teach them common decency in our society. My kids were able to go to fine dinning restaurants at young ages because they behaved themselves and we had polite conversations with them instead of our face in phones or iPads….we go out of our way to compliment these parents who have taught their kids how to behave in a public setting. It is really easy when you start from a very young age…😉

My son grew up cruising on Carnival. I never, even in his teenage years, left him on the ship because I feared that I might miss the ship with him onboard. After he turned 13, I allowed him to explore the ship on his own or with friends, and by explore I mean go to teen spaces. He had to introduce me to any friends he meet on board, periodically check in during the day, and he had a curfew.

Tony, you hit it on the head!! Especially when kids take over the hot tubs as their mini pools. Love your videos.

21 years and above, then they can run loose. Plus, no little people in the whirlpools. Have seen to much with no parent in sight with kids and whirlpools. ugh Great video.
