Join Daniel Norton OnSet as he breaks down the process of setting up a classic three-point light scenario. Using TTL metering, we can set each light individually very quickly and then combine the lights to create a classic look. Adding gels and making small changes is easy once you have the base pattern locked in.

A great demo, Daniel. Paulina is beautiful, as always too. Watching this a month late. I must have missed it, but not any more.

Another great educational video. You are getting closer to episode 300. Thank you for making lighting set ups simple to follow. I can see why keeping the other lights in TTL while trying to set up your lighting can cause problems.

I think I looked at this at least 3-times and You nail it every time.... I don´t use TTL but the essens is the same, one at the time... Thanks for the lesson. :-)

Great presentation Daniel Norton! Its great seeing what each individual light does on its own and then seeing collectively how they blend on the shot. Like you have mentioned its important to master how to make light look natural/effortless. Thanks ADORAMA for showcasing someone of the level of Daniel Norton to understand what can be done with all the great equipment its available at your great store!
P.S. Daniel, if one wants to do the same set up for full body how will the set change; it does have an interesting look I'm thinking like if one will do like a 4 page spread?

Nice - a quick explanation, but with immediate tethered feedback and physical demonstration (Daniel walking to points on the set). Just what an instructional video should be !

Could not be more educational, Daniel. I've just bought myself a Godox Pro trigger together with a couple of Godox speed lights. I wonder if they also keep the TTL settings when you shift the trigger to manual. Thank you!

Nice, Daniel! Paulina has a great, "positive vibes" look, and your lighting accents that.

Great video anything dealing with lighting I love to watch. Models with flowing hair on both sides which side do you light for separation from the background?

The distance for the light to the subject, either the key or the other lights, is there a science/math for determining that, or is it trial and error?

I have a question: When you change from TTL to manual, how do you know what stops of light to use in each of the three lights? 1/8, 1/4 etc power...
