3 Point Lighting is a very important tool to know for the foundation of all cinematography. Being the first lighting technique I learned, it's something everyone should know.

One thing I've learned in the last couple years is that a smaller budget doesn't limit your option of shots as much as it changes how convenient it will be to get them. For instance, you can get a lower budget LED with a similar CRI to the Aputure 120d, and then you'll have to be more creative about the lower brightness when competing with sunlight, perhaps by employing ND gels which are pretty cheap. Or if you want a TV light effect but can't afford a SkyPanel type device, it means someone will have to be manually dimming it during the shot to create the same effect, but it can still be done.

For anyone who sees Brady's videos and worries about budget, I strongly recommend his video about getting 8 film looks with a single light – it proves that getting beautiful shots is far more about developing an eye for what will look good than it is about the gear.

Awesome, kindly may you create series of tutorials by using the Redhead lamps because it is cheaper, many small budget production use them

Killer 3 point video. Room tone is deff super important especially for interviews! Would love to see a breakdown of what I’m noticing and trying to do in my work.
Aka back lighting everything that also gives wrap. Shooting into the key that what I’ve found is usually a 12x12 or for my budget an 8x8. Much more grip involved but would love to see how to do it solo and your take
