This is one of many versions of the vegetable side you'll find at almost any of the smaller "hibachi" style places in the US. Onions are a constant, and zucchini is almost one, but there are often other veggies in the mix.

The larger types will usually have more elaborate veggie sides and a show when cooking at your table, but this is more of the sort of thing where everything is cooked on a single teppan (flat-top grill) and bought to your table-- or for take-out.

It will be usually served with a pan-grilled meat or seafood (usually shrimp) and rice. There's a place next to my local megamart that has a decent plate with two meats, this kind of veggies dish, and rice for about 10-15 bucks-- and it's quite a lot of food, a rather good value.
