A few notes:

- Get the batter to room temperature before cooking to get a good rise.
- That is an obscene amount of butter. You don’t really *need* that much (the recipe on my site has less) but it’s only Christmas once!
- Yes, it’s one pan because I didn’t include the blender jug.
- Isn’t this just a savoury dutch baby? Call it whatever makes you happy.
- What’s Dutch about it? Nothing. The name comes from an American misunderstanding of ‘Deutsche’ because it’s based on a German pancake.
- The pan doesn’t have to be cast iron, just one that can go in the oven. That includes similar sized (24cm) and shape cake tins.
- How does it rise without yeast? Steam!

Y’all he says “creme fresh” at the end, so I think the “freeszh” was a joke

I mean, Im not saying its bad or anything. Im sure its delicious. but this isnt a yorkshire pudding. The cooking Temperature is too low and its incredibly sunken. You didnt let the batter rest, and as said before the temperature is too low. which is kind of hard to achieve with butter. nice recipe, not yorkshire pudding.

You eat like this every day ! Wow you viking must be real cold where you are . I lived in England London with Irish Scottish and English people they don’t eat so heavily ! I am French but south Mediterranean my parents are from northern parts where cream and cheese is often use and lots of butter and meat still not that heavy . They all ended up diabetic or with severe constipation . Take care ❤ everybody is different .
