Nice neat job.
First, flux the area and then add low melt solder.
Second, Copper wick it off.
Third, Clean with alcohol.
Fourth, put down solder stencil and then add solder flux paste.
Fifth, Clean and then flux.
Sixth, put down chips and heat them up.
Seventh, Reheat and let them "settle" then hold them in place till cool.
Eighth, Clean with alcohol and finish.

Everything is fine, but you may encounter problems with bigger ICs using this much flux when resoldering the chip. It shouldn't float like that because it can cause the balls to stick together, it works because the ICs and the balls are tiny. When you do that on laptop size GPU it will make the balls stick for sure.
I used a paint brush and applied a tiny layer of flux and it worked fine

I curious how do you know the pins are lined up if you cant see them? Is it just from that little square in upper right corner?

I tried a heat gun to get an HDMI port off PS4 motherboard. Solder didn't melt & I burned the stuff around it.
