This Nintendo SWITCH has a BROKEN USB-C Port | Can I FIX It?

This Switch is in pretty bad shape! The USB-C port has been completely ripped off the board, so it obviously doesn't charge and doesn't dock. It's going to need a new port and some teeny tiny trace repair.

Let's try and fix it!

PS. I'm not an expert in repairs at all. I do this for fun, and it may not be the best or safest way to go about repairing broken stuff. I'm pretty good at melting plastic though. Please don't copy me - I'm an idiot.

I have watched so many of your videos now, I find them absolutely brilliant. I had a Nest Cam with a broken micro-USB port, came away from the board. Sat there for a year or so, with a view to one day fix it. After watching your videos, I got myself a microscope and a decent solder iron set, and copied what I have watched you do so many times. Nice Fix Steve. Well Done! If you want to see TINY wires you should have a look at the vintage Ramtex Space Invaders game I just repaired. I had to solder the gold bond wires from an LED chip die back to the traces of the PCB. It was quite intense!
