It’s amazing to me how “like the facets of a perfect diamond” each time I look (read) through the scriptures I find something new – something that applies to me directly at that particular moment.

Truly amazing is that the scriptures themselves have not changed - it is I who have changed – and in that change been able to see something new – something that though it seems new to me - was always there.

Would recommend the Robert M. M'cheyne bible reading plan for anyone who wants to engage with God's word daily, both Old and New testaments. It's been an incredible help to me in my personal study.

Great advice. I've seen my share of King James Onlyists who've ripped this passage from its context and tried to say that it applies to our modern era of "evil" Bible translations.
