How to check if Flash memory drive has genuine storage capacity | H2testw test | Computer Tips

Sometimes, due to manufacturing defects or if the product is counterfeit, we don't get the storage capacity that it claims. It may happen that a 32 GB flash memory has an actual storage capacity of just 8 GB or it may have no storage capacity at all. This takes way too much time (up to several days) especially if the flash memory is large and slow.
Is there a way to skip sectors and roughly scan the whole drive (as opposed to write/read every single bit) ?

The eject thing at the end is straight up wrong. If you're using windows 7 or newer there is literally 0 risk by just taking the drive out if it's a normal usb stick
