How to clean a MacBook Pro keyboard. In this video tutorial I'm going to teach you how to clean a MacBook Pro Keyboard with a few simple items you should have at home.

To clean your MacBook keyboard you will need a vacuum with a soft brush head, a couple of microfiber towels, some q-tips/cotton buds, and plain water.

does this work when some keys aren’t working? I have never spilled a drink on my keyboard. Will that more include taking the individual keys off? My mac is 5 or 6 years old. I can't afford a whole new laptop.

How do you manage to not turn the computer on when pressing the cloth on the keyboard? I bought my first Mac Book Air recently and it turns on when pressing ANY button! I've just found out that for a few years now all Apple laptops are built this way and there's not even an option to disable this feature! which is absolutely stupid and annoying! I have no idea how to work around that!

Great tips! I just wonder how to get the keys themselves clean on the sides because I still see some 'gunk' down/between you -_, J & K keys (could be me just being overly anal)... I wonder if the keys themselves pop off/out like some standalone keyboard keys do? NOT gonna try it until I hear that they can, LOL!
