Whats crazy is "Ignorance of the law is no excuse for breaking it" but when you ask for clarification they just repeat back to you the shit you didn't understand in the first place.

"why do you think we're here"
"is it because of the exploding bullet video?"
"the WHAT video?"

"Why do you think we're here today?"

"You want to play some 1v1 Basketball and need an honest referee."

I hope he actually finishes the story, cause so far the FBI came to his door, but what happened next? Don't interrupt the guy telling the story

Would've been nice to let him talk and tell the story without being interrupted every 5 seconds

I love that William has the bathroom door in frame in almost every episode so you can see the awkward look on peoples faces as they are walking away from the war crimes they just committed against the toilet.

An interviewing standard your team needs to learn and become familiar with:
When you ask a person to tell a story, actually let the person tell the story.
Stop interrupting your guest so much. It's counterproductive to the interviewee and your audience.

Having worked in the oilfield H2S was super sketchy, we always had sensors we carried around location all the time and when driving around you could smell the rotten egg smell everywhere. Needless to say we were worried more about methed out hands on the rig killing somebody by not paying attention than H2S.

I feel like that's a goal for these YouTube science channels, is just without knowing, you're going to accidentally make a video that the authorities or even government want you to "kindly" take it down.

Weird sidenote: If you ever go through H2S training you'll hear the story of my second cousin... He was the paramedic that drove into the H2S cloud trying to get to the guys who were already down... He's the reason they specifically give for not trying to help somebody that goes down in a suspected H2S situation... Run upwind Gentlemen!

I've been through the training multiple times and just found that out.

In the UK, we add Methyl Mercaptan (known in the trade as 'stench') to our natural gas. About 20 years ago, a couple of litres of concentrated stench was accidentally spilt at Ipswich docks. For several weeks, it could be smelled from 20+ miles away.

H2S is the reason I have permanent brain damage.
I worked in the oilfield as safety and maintenance, I cleaned and repaired pilot valves and inspected relays for pumpjacks, and one location was built compact because the person who owned the land at the time didn't want us to take up too much space, so things were built in a way that made it dangerous. Right next to one of the pilot valves was a vent point that released gas right into my face, and the exposure lead to cognitive and motor skill degradation and memory problems. I'm fine for the most part, though I tend to forget things and fail to properly grab things or use my hands normally sometimes. That could also be from nerve damage from being electrocuted too, but idk.

I respect all of you guys just to learn to communicate better one person at a time

"Yeah, the FBI came to my house because I told people how to make this dangerous gas."
"Oh, that gas that you make by doing this and this?"
"Yeah and then you do that and mix it with that."
"Oof man."

FBI: “Why do you think we are here today?”
Me: "You finally arrested these guys that kept interrupting me all the time?"

It’s so hard to watch him tell his story when they constantly interrupt him after every sentence

You NEVER answer the question, "Why do you think we're here?"

You DO say, "Show me your I.D. properly so I know you are who you say you are."

You DO say, "Why are you here?"

You DO NOT say, "Come in."

You DO take measures to protect yourself from wrongful prosecution, such as recording the conversation, getting a witness to observe and seeking legal advice.

Imagine how frustrating it would be to be asked a question and have someone else cut you off and answer it instead.

They can “ask” you to delete it. They cannot “demand” you to delete it. Call an attorney!!!

“Why do you think we are here today?”
-“Because you’re terrible at your job and obviously at the wrong address.”
