Minelab absolutely rocks. I been wanting to upgrade from my Vanquish 540 and always wanted an Equinox but I had concerns about the quality. Looks like Minelab did there homework and address all quality issues and some. I been wanting/waiting for Minelab to upgrade the Equinox and now its here. Kudos to Minelab, I'll certainly be buying one

It looks good The coils are interchangeable apparently with 600 and 800 found a fortune with my 800 so I will be getting a 900 definitely

It all sounds good Paul but Minlab has not solved the waterproof issue as far as I've heard. I'm an avid water hunter in Florida and have flooded so many Minelab machines with exception of X-cal. I wouldn't use anything but a Minelab as I literally have found more then my share but they really need to step up the waterproofing aspect as it is NOT WATERPROOF!!!! Cant figure out the problem as I water hunt with alot of Deus 2 users in only chest deep water and do not see any issues with the Deus as I'm heading back to my truck with a flooded Eqinox???? WTH? Too much hype Minelab! You are not cheap and should solve this problem for your dedicated clientele!!!

If it truly is "waterproof" and the sensitivity is "truly" increased.. I'm looking at the 700 or 800 more seriously... No one is talking about a depth increase from the original equinox line.... And if it's "All That" what is the Manticore for?.... Cannot wait for real life experience videos where ppl are actually using these machines and not just talking about them. I'm not being negative here, I am thrilled about great possibilities from minelab...most of us have a budget so I want to be sure to spend my cash wisely.. I was all set to make the Manticore my next machine.... 🙄Now there are two/3 many options on the table.🏴‍☠️

Hi Paul, can you show what the new red screen and keys backlight is like in daylight please? All the photos ive seen are shot in twilight/darkness.... the vanquish 540 red screen light is barely visible in my opinion, is the equinox 900 the same ? I run my nox 800 with backlight on as i need the contrast with my eyesight. Thanks in advance

What a waste of time surely the tiny upgrade could of been done with software upgrade for the 800 I for one wont be buying any of the new machines

I see minelab are back to bring out loads of different machines again be interesting to see how good the manticore is or should I wait for the CX3030 revamp (you know its comming) also I noticed how old your video posts are about the 700 and 900 green leaves on the trees you in shorts early mid summer wonder why that is?.

It needs a 5 year warranty. My nox 800 flooded 5 months after warranty ran out. Now im out $899 just gone down the drain. Thanks minelab but NO THANKS ! You owe me $899 !
