Answering some comment questions on the Equinox and Manticore.

Just ordered the Manticore last week and tonight ordered the Equinox 900. Would love to see a side by side of both collapsed from the top and sides. With total length in inches and total high in inches. Also, how easy is it to remove the grips? What their sizes are and width. I plan to take these on planes for vacations and will check in everything but the grips with the batteries in them for my carryon. THX

I have the equinox 600 and I can say those charging ports are the same on both the 900 and the manticore. The charging port is a large part of the leaking problem because they develop cracks in that area.

I've always wanted the ability to notch by depth. If you are in an old hunted park... but there may be silver 12 to 16" deep to not hear close to the surface coins. This would be based on the depth gauge on the detector.

Good work iffy. I like to keep my coils on the shaft instead of switching coils back and forth. Which lower shaft should I get? Detect-Ed mention their lower shafts can only be used with their upper shaft

Thank you for this information. The charging pins on the 800 were also gold plated. My concern is the charging port is the same as the 800 (this has been shown in detail on a different video) and cracks if you do not connect/ disconnect with care. I hope I am wrong, but it could be a leak issue as it has been on the 600/800. Manticore uses the same port also. Thanks again for the information.

I second the EMI question. There are spots that are virtually undetectable with my 800 without seriously compromising performance by having to lower sensitivity drastically or having to use single frequency 40khz. Anywhere there’s underground wires for lighting in a park or near a pole transformer it just goes crazy. Forget noise cancel or even trying to manually find a channel as none work. Does either the 900 or Manticore improve on this? Thanks!

I thought the new Equinox pods were upgraded to the new Manticore pod? I see that it's not the same because the flashlight is different. So is the Equinox using the old style pod housing but with the addition of the flashlight? Or is the 700/900 pod completely different than the 600/800's?

Hello! On\Off button is the same that equinox 800 has? My button was broken this autumn because was not good centered in manufacturing.

Can you show the 2D of a coin on the edge, I wonder if it will still show a round target on the 2D map, as some coins dug will be on edge.

I was going to sell my 800 and now you're telling me that the coils charging cable and some of that stuff will work on this I have a six inch coil of course the 11 and the 15 inch are the performances of the equinox coils the same as the newer ones today redesign anything on the interior of the new coils that will make them perform any better than the older ones a contemplated on selling the 800 but I kept it just to see what was the compatible
