Hey all! Thanks for watching! We know 70, 000 miles isn't all that "high mileage". These are the oldest and highest mileage 3.5's we received over the last week or so. This is where YOU Come in. If you have a high mileage ecoboost (150, 000+) we want to hear about it. Send us a submission:

We'll have more detailed instructions soon but we specifically want to know about reliability and longevity. Hope to hear from you soon! -The TFLtruck Team

You guys can’t find trucks with +200k? I’m sorry but 70k isn’t high mileage.

My friend has a 2011 F150 Ecoboost, and it's has 310000 miles on it. With regular maintenance, he has not had any issues at all, and he tows a trailer daily about 120 miles each way for work. Trailer weight is 7500 pounds. As longs as you take care of your vehicle, it'll take care of you.

America needs to build Fords like they build them in Australia! Bring back The 300 cubic inch straight 6 too!

My 7.3L Powerstroke still has low mileage at 225K

I have a 2014 3.5 with 115, 000 miles. I changed the spark plugs as well when I started having a misfire - cylinder 3 as well. All of my plugs were at various gaps. Used the updated plugs from Ford and it’s been great ever since. That, Oil changes every 5, 000 miles, and an O2 sensor is all I have had to do. This engine with the 3.73 gears is incredible to tow with. I’d recommend an EcoBoost to anyone, and that’s coming from someone who was dead set on a 5.0 until I drove the Eco.

Minimum is 200k to be even considered high mileage. Don't be clickbaity

A laundry list of problems? I think everyone agrees that was NOTHING and goes into the column “Regular Maintenance.”

We have a 2011 with modifications, tune, intake, downpipe‘s, etc., and it is an absolutely solid truck, 224, 000 miles and counting and still runs like it has 50, 000

Closing in on 200K Miles, transmission is perfect and shifts smoothly. Super quick truck. Love it.

The F150 EcoBoost engines can hit 200k+ miles easily if maintained properly. That so called “laundry list” of problems was just maintenance. And that rattle noise is the phasers, not the chains. Plenty of room between the front cover and radiator so it’s not too bad of a job, plenty of room to work. I’ve done phasers on a handful of EcoBoost trucks, can easily be done in a day.

I used to work at a dealership and we had a 2014 f-150 lariat 3.5 ecoboost with 230, 000 miles. Even with that many miles the truck drove like a dream!!

I had a 2012 EcoBoost until Dec. 2017. It was equipped with the max tow package and I installed a B&W gooseneck hitch. I often pulled a 25’ deck over, 20’ stock trailer, or 27’ boat. It was worked harder than any F150 I know of. It had 180, 000 miles when I traded it for a F250. Nothing was ever done to it beyond routine maintenance. I loved that truck, how it drove and handled. Engine was powerful and responsive. Not really any more economical than the 5.0L, but tons more power

I totaled my 2011 F150 3.5 L Ecoboost XLT 4x4 Supercrew can 2 weeks ago!! 285, 000 miles bought August 2011! I am completely heartbroken over this truck!!
Catalytic converters were removed, adding +_ 50 horsepower, ECU towing tune!!!
I’m just a single mom working the night shift nurse life!!!! Best damn vehicle I have ever owned!!

71k is not considered anywhere near higher mileage.

I worked on a first gen Ecoboost 2011 F150 just the other day. Came in for a timing chain job. Guy said it's never been touched except for tune-ups and oil changes. Truck had 415k on it. After replacing the timing chain and guides I took it for a test drive. Thing ran like the day it was new.

I have a 2.7 ecoboost (2017) with 118, 000 miles. It is my daily work truck that I cover the state of NM in. It has been great and reliable! Only regular maintenance. Brakes twice, one set of tires and regular oil changes, tire rotations and one set of plus. I haul about 800 lbs constantly with all my parts in the bed. Runs like a champ still and pulls strong up the mountains!

My 2015 F150 3.5 Ecoboost just turned 200k miles and runs great. I often get asked how I like my new truck. Aluminum body was a great move by Ford. Truck has zero dings or corrosion and is driven on harsh MN winter roads.
