You missed some of the best parts of that story:
*Zvika Force (As they had designated their own callsign) was so effective that Syrian forces actually designated his 2 busted wwii tanks as a company of new tanks.
*One of the times that he changed tank was when the one he was in actually burst into flames and he continued fighting despite severe burns
*his 2 tanks and 1 guy with a rocket launcher managed to hold off an entire spearhead attack through Nafah base before being relieved by a company of brand new T-62's, they then pressed on to retake the Tapline Road.
*Shortly after the new company arrived, he exitted his tank, saluted the colonel and said "Sorry sir, I cannot go on." Before collapsing of exhaustion after fighting for 30-40 hours non-stop.
