Calibration of the Intensity-Based Optical Fiber Strain Sensor

In this demo, for the purpose of calibration, the reflected intensity of the sensor is measured while it is under different applied mechanical strains. Deformation of the sensor can be seen in the images while it is under load. At the end of the calibration, the graph of strain vs voltage is obtained by fitting a curve to the measured data.
