How to add a template to an existing Discord Server!

Many discord users across the planet are keen in managing their servers with efficiency, and at times wish to revamp them completely, with the help of templates, yet can not add these templates in one go.

i have a gaming discord server that is fairly active the servers been going for some time so there is lots of content ie guides tips tricks sections and members have private tabs where they like to post photos n such. i want a new look; it looks like the templates are a nice shortcut but if i add a template will it delete all my friends and members content? if so is there a workaround other then not doing it at all?

So basically, if I make a dummy server create an entire template with all the bots that I want this will successfully copy that dummy server, and paste it into an existing server along with the bots, correct?

So here's a basic FAQ, since some users are still unfamiliar with the process.

1. Why isn't Xenon responding?

Xenon may currently be offline, it's best to wait for a while and then try again, make sure to check whether or not Xenon has permissions to type and make changes to the server.


2. Can admins only perform this task?

Yes, you however need to be the owner of the server you transfer the template to.
