anyways, upon hearing her cover i HAD to sing it for myself. if you haven't been able to tell already, the existence of this cover is hugely inspired by raf's cover. i especially loved her art that she included in her video; i really like the image of a jaded, vengeful queen on the hunt for blood. this song was super fun to sing and act out, so i hope y'all enjoy!

She deeply mourns the death of her love, and now with more power, she raises her son to be her knight to track down who she thinks killed him, crushing anyone who stands in her way under her heel, even her own children.

Let me then say this: The couple other "My Lullaby" covers I have listened to include Zeke's insult, "Sleep you little termite", just in the same voice as the rest of the song, making their take bluntly regard Jovi as an obnoxious tool

I like that you chose to instead replace the line by calling him an 'angel'. It sets the impression of loving Kovu even while intending to use him. That, in my opinion, is even more interesting and eerie than the original.

I commend you for this liberty you have taken.
