I like how you transplanted Nuka's line to Zira, as it shows how she really sees Kovu, a tool for her revenge, a termite that would gnaw away at the foundations of the Pride Lands.

Oh, wow, only having one singer and therefore reworking the siblings’ lines for Zira so that Nuka saying “Sleep, you little termite! I mean, precious little thing...” becomes Zira weirdly sincerely saying “Sleep, my little termite — I mean, precious little thing...” is still weirdly fitting, considering despite all the attention and investment she gives Kovu, she actually kinda sees him strictly as a means to an end and basically has zero investment in him as a person. While she realizes she’s been a terrible mom when Nuka dies... she just scapegoats Kovu instead of actually extending that to him, too, even.
