In all honesty, this is all the truck I need, but not all the truck I want. Thankfully there is still the option to buy V8’s. Great video guys.

Just traded a 2015 Ram EcoDiesel for this 2020 2.7 turbo Silverado 4WD It has been 10 weeks now I will say I have Had Diesel trucks for Last 30 years most of them a Ram Cummins, and this 2.7 Turbo drives like a Diesel for sure with excellent Torque of 348 Lb. Ft. and also 310 HP. but much better on the short trips Than the Ecodiesel It did not like short trips in cold weather, I Just Towed a trailer at 7, 000 Lbs on 250 mile trip down and back up and the Truck did fine and that Includes going up Jellico Mountain on Ky/Tenn state line I averaged 13.5 per gallon over all and The same trip in EcoDiesel averaged 13.8 per gallon and at time the price of diesel was $0.65 more per gallon, And when it comes to the Longevity of the 2.7 Turbo Silverado I have a 100, 000 mile B/B warranty and also a Lifetime Power-train warranty Just in case some of you are correct in the comments, I will update with any issues. All Coming from a true owner, My 10-week 6, 000 mile Review Is-This is a great Running and Driving Full size 1500 Truck Thanks.

Pretty amazing what 4 cylinders can accomplish nowadays. 80% of the people with full size trucks dont use them for towing or hauling for that matter.

It’s crazy how many 3/4 ton truck owners don’t do any more towing than that little bike rack that goes into the hitch of the truck. Point I am making most truck drivers should be driving this truck but won’t.

Looks like a good roadtrip/city truck, for someone who pulls the fishing boat 10 times a year

10:12 I wouldnt buy it because the turn signal is louder than the engine.

Love the Fast Lane videos. These people know how to talk and explain trucks very well. Great dialogue. Other YouTubers need to take note.

Light beer capability with a Craft beer price. F-That.

What the heck, no low range?! That’s some Honda Ridgeline crap right there...

He really liked that “all the taste, half the calories” line. It was as knee slapping hilarious the third time as it was the first two.

Looking back at this. For 2021, GM upped the tow rating to the same as a 5.3 at just over 9000 lbs. For 2022, Chevy dropped the 4.3 V6 and has made the 2.7T the base engine for WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT and RST. It is officially the most powerful base engine offered in the full size truck market, and not only that, the 2022 refresh trucks get the 2.7 HO with a bump to 420 ft.lbs torque, keeping the claim of most powerful base 1/2 ton truck engine. Can't wait to see how the HO version drives.

My family used to have a 1 ton that had a 4 cylinder motor. It was a 1924 International,

If Chevy wants to keep the Colorado around, they better offer this engine!

I just bought this exact truck. Drives similar to the Ford Ranger Ecoboost I had. That’s great because I love the turbo. After having the mid size truck, I realized that I prefer the full size better. With this Silverado I will get similar gas mileage to the Ranger.

This is the kind of truck I need. A weekender for those trips to the home center, a bed to haul furniture and trash, good gas mileage and enough room for grown adults. Too bad it costs to much or I would definitely check one out. I don't ever do heavy hauling because I'm not a farmer or construction worker, I just want a comfortable carrier. I'll keep my current truck for now and keep my eye on the price of these in the future.

This engine should be in the coloardo.
upnorthyooper
It definitely won’t replace the more powerful V8s or even the twin turbo V6s, but like people have mentioned before, it’s MORE than capable of doing anything the vast majority of truck buyers will ask of it and then some.
sierravortec
Put this in the Colorado and u have a winner!
chadsteele
This is going to be a great engine for the Canyon/Colorado.
georgedeamicis
I love how quiet this truck is. I won't have to get embarrassed by the sound of the 4-cylinder
