Does anyone else want a season focused on chaos? More chaos legions for customisation in PVP, chaos PVE with its own set of missions and whatever funky stuff people can come up with

I hope we get some actual Traitor marine customization down the line as well, haven't heard anyone ask about it yet and hopefully some PVE modes with them as well at least the upcoming horde mode.

There are lots of features sm2 could benefit by that were in sm1. Including private lobbies. In my opinion, the PVP in sm1 is far superior to that of sm2.

I think they shot themselves in the foot by including the hub section, rather than menu-lobbies.
Just means they have to spawn in all the players for custom lobbies.

That's pretty insane to not already have a full party 6v6 and private pvp custom game lobbies planned, every other game on the market is capable of this with a few exceptions. 6 team PvE should defnitely be a thing, if Halo Infinite can pull it off with that absolute frankenstein of a game engine they have then certainly Saber Interactive can pull it off. That being said they'll need to beef up those servers for sure.

Hey Valrak, I'm not really your hardest fan, I subscribed to your channel when Eternal Crusade was at its prime like 6-8 years ago. I remember when you were hyping us about a sequel for Space Marine, I'm happy that this day happenned. Actually I really think the 40K owes you a lot, I remember when we spammed by email for Space Marine sequel. I used to play against you and Vigilia Mortis back in the day. I hope to fight you back in SM2. Keep your good vibes ! See you in the battlefield.

i dont want private pvp to be the main thing .. I want partys
of 6 or up to the max player of that mode to be a thing in public match and maybe adding SOLO queus for those not playing in a group

From what i have seen looks like PvE is going to be the main focus of the awesome game that it and am happy with that 😊 I tried one game of PvP and was like its ok but rather play PvE

I highly appreciate and encourage this type of communion between players and devs.

It's something severely lacking these days, and restores the trust, honesty, and humanity of this hobby.

Instead of just paying lip-service, and the fans seeing it as just _"corporate crap"_ - the devs have a direct line to the players without involving evil publishers.

And also, from the players' perspective, we know our voices are being heard and reaching the correct ears within the studio.

And hey, it may even show publishers that, once every now and again, that the devs know better than they do!

PvE should always get just as much love as PvP. Vice versa

I hope if it's a processing issue, then we could get a larger kill team to fight a smaller yet stronger horde.

Like a lot of warriors and multiple Carnifex' or something. If that's even how tyranids work...

Carnifexes? Carnifexies? Cardoornobs?

Hopefully they can focus a bit more on the pvp. Players are clearly loving it more than the developers expected.

I asked via email about having squads larger than 3 people and I was told the following:

“Currently it is not possible to create squads larger than 3 players. Although we are looking into how to expand this, I cannot give you any ETA on when this could happened or if it will happen at all”.

Read between the lines as you want.

Update 1.1 Priorities

1. Matchmaking bug fix -Be able to join lobbies when you want to play online. Not have to go to main menu to try to reconnect.



2. New Maps for PVP. Take assets from campaign and hire more people. 2 million copies sold and you need to invest that money back into the game to build more maps. 3 maps at launch is abysmal.



3. PVP balance Grenades - one hit kill radius reduced. No point in using anything other than the default grenade.4. PVP Balance Vanguard - Allow players to shoot but not move their aim if they get grappled. Vanguard starts with 1 grapple and secondary can start charging. Vanguard is meant to get into places where other classes can't, not spam stun locks on other characters at all times. The worst feeling in this game is being in a firefight and having the edge and then the vanguard grapples you and shoots you in the head, killing you before the stun lock is over.



5. PVP Balance heavy shield - If you roll the shield should be dropped. If you get a heavy to move with a grenade then you should be rewarded.



6.PVP Parry or ability to roll time attacks. Hammer cannot be dodged. No reward for parrying any melee attacks so both parties are just forced to attack spam or one stalls with parries hoping teammates are there.



7. PVP Tactical Ability - should be a grenade to make it harder to use. Not just and instant scan that can be done across map with no warning.



8. Chaos unlockables - Why does one side have unlockables and the other doesn't? Oh yeah, it's because PVP was not a priority.



PVP needs to be prioritized for two reasons. One there was little content there at launch. Two, PVP changes are easier to implement and have greater impacts on the game for the same amount of time spent.
