A friend of mine was discussing how his two sons studied to become Veterinary Surgeons. They toured a piggery attached to a factory. His sons described in tears that the squealing of the pigs was so obviously from intelligent beings SCREAMING because they knew full well what was going to happen to them. Truly heart wrenching.

Been vegan for 5 years, after being a hard core meat eater before that. Every single body of evidence points in this direction. My only regret is that it took me so long to look honestly at the evidence and apply my findings to my own life. There is nothing we like so much as good news about our bad habits, and I’m ashamed to admit that I fell victim to that principle for so many years.

i agree with the cow part, these animals really have fellings and we just brutally kill and torture them for our pleasure. For ex i had a cow that was in the family for 10 years but we had to sell because we desperately needed the money, the poor thing started crying while it was being loaded up in a truck. my mom also began crying because she was the one who took care of her for the most part and they created a bond in that time. (thankfully i live in a village so she just went to another household and not in some factory, i also saw her other children once, so she's probably still kicking to this day)
