Man, we've come a long way from good fight choreography and directors who actually know how to film a fight scene. It's something that really started around 2018 with Chinese directors/editors, where they started to make way too many cuts in action sequences. It's extremely jarring and prevents you from actually seeing any of the actor's movements. This style of editing is so prolific in Chinese works that it has to be the result of them either not hiring a fight choreographer or that they hired someone who was inexperienced.
