Whether Godzilla fans want to accept it or not Tiamat was the strongest Titan alive (besides Shimo) before Godzilla evolved, so she probably believed she could handle Godzilla. Tiamat has Hydrokinesis, Phosphorus ink, razor sharp scales, and electrical abilities. Because of her electrical abilities she can electrocute any Titan that touches her and can even transfer electricity to her bite. The electric abilities can boil the water around to extreme temperatures and can make Superstorms that rival Ghidorah’s. It was because Tiamat wasn’t aware Godzilla was in his Subatomic form which is why he won so easily. Her instinct due to her territorial nature also drove her to keep fighting.

Here’s why I think she didn’t run away because if y’all know about Godzilla monster verse, Taimat has a daughter, but we didn’t see her and she had told her to go hide and when she saw that her mom was about to fight she had left then her Mom was protecting her daughter

She didn’t beat him because of poor writing and planning. Someone as that. She would have hurt him bad under water. She was juiced up herself. There’s no way Godzilla would have the upper hand. I don’t care how much juice dip he is. She didn’t use any of her abilities against him but strength.
