Our group interpreted the topic as to how to survive and thrive in Galway. We visited and videoed many of the hotspots around town to give a real feel as to what life in Galway is like. We suggested a lot of great places to go for those who have just arrived here! We portrayed how vibrant and exciting the town can be, especially as it is hosting international, year-long events as part of the Galway 2020 European Capital for Culture bid. From the buzz up and down Quay Street, the best places to do your grocery shopping, the most delicious Irish cuisine 😉, and the best places to get great deals, we showed some of the most interesting and informative aspects to life in Galway. We also mentioned some important tips such as never to forget that the weather is always changing, so be prepared!
