What you all are saying is understandable. I just recently got back from the World Race and have seen first hand the positives and negatives. Yes, it is true that long term missions is more effective, but not everyone knows where to do their long term missions. This is a sampler platter of you will to have The Lord confirm where you are called to be and what type of ministry for the long run. This trip WILL help you grow spiritually. You will be closer to The Lord and your lives will be changed

i have done the race and this still gives me chills. every time it renews in me a passion and an excitement to Go into all the nations!!! i loved my race!

I'm in Romania on the World Race right now and this video still gives me chills and pushes me to serve God with everything to bring his kingdom down to earth.

My sister went last year and it changed her, and granted we live in different places so I don't connect that often as I want to with her, it changed her and I've given thought to going as well.
Not a last effort, not because I have something else to do, not because I SHOULD or OUGHT to, but because if I truly wanna get out there it's because as a follower of Christ I WANT to.

I've never been on the World Race, but I know several who have. They all have such cool stories of life transformation, both in themselves and in the people they served.
