'My daughter made her husband a PM,' Rishi Sunak's mother-in-law Sudha Murty credits Akshata

Rishi Sunak is the youngest Prime Minister of the United Kingdom in modern history, who assumed office at just 42. Notably, Prime Minister of Indian origin is married to daughter of Indian billionaire Narayana Murthy and philanthropist Sudha Murty. His mother-in-law, Sudha Murty recently attributed his political success to Akshata Murty, Sunak’s wife. In a video circulating online, Sudha Murty claimed that because of her daughter, Sunak became UK’s youngest PM. “The reason is the glory of the wife. See how a wife can change a husband. But I could not change my husband. I made my husband a businessman, and my daughter made her husband a Prime Minister,” said Sudha Murty.
