Lyrics:-

Ah, ya ya ya ya, ya ya ya ya, ya ya ya ya
Little darling oh little darling
O-oh where a-are you?
My lover I was wronger
To try to love two
Ahh uha uha uha uha
Knowing well that my lover
Was just for you uh only you
My darling I need you
To call my own
And never do wrong
To hold in mine
Your little hand
I'll know too soon
That I'll so pray
Please hold my hand
My dear I was wronger
To try to love two
Ahh uha uha uha uha
Knowing well that my lover
Was just for you
Uh only you

I grew up listening to sounds of the 50's. As a kid I saw American Graffiti and fell in love with Candy Clark. My first car was a classic. Now in 56 and driving a 1963 Ford Falcon. This movie gets inside your mind.

I grew up listening to this song along with tons of
mid to late 1950’s songs at my grandparents house ever since I was a toddler. Sadly my grandfather is no longer alive, he passed away back in September unexpectedly to a stoke, but he introduced me to some great catchy timeless tunes. :’)

(This was one of his top favorite songs.)

I was a very young child when this song was a hit. My dad loved it and played the record and sang along to it and to me. Its on of my favourite oldest memories of my dad. The Diamonds were from Toronto where my dad and I were born so also it was a big deal for Toronto to have hit pop singers in those days.

Honestly, I think this would have made a better intro for American Graffiti than just the static image of Mel's over 'Rock Around the Clock' that George used. The crane shot of Mel's along with B-roll of cars on the strip would have been absolutely perfect.
