The best music ever with no dirty words, a sound that'll never die. Greetings from Panama.

People dress so nice back then. The age of innocents.

Something happened along the way. Something very profound and sad between the 1950s and 1960s. The music that both kids and their parents enjoyed together suddenly changed and separated the two generations. It was closely followed with the Vietnam War which did irreparable damage to the country. I lived those years and truly miss all those great songs.

I was born in the 60’s and grew up in the 70’s and 80’s. Whenever I’d see anything from the 50’s, I’d tell my parents I wish I grew up in the 50’s. Now my kids see film of our time in the 80’s and tell me they wish they grew up in the 80’s. We sure had some good times back when!

This was released when I was 13 years old. Yes I'm bloody old. This was the age of crooners and then suddenly there was exciting music and girls, oh yes the girls in their wonderful dresses and beehive hair. Where are they now ? Life is so short. Live it to the full or you will regret it later.

The Diamonds were a group from Toronto, Canada, one of whom was a sound engineer for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. They achieved 16 hits on the Billboard charts and were inducted into the Doo-Wop Hall of Fame.

And don't forget the nose rings and other piercings! Some of them look like a walking hardware store! 🤯

April 1946. Makes me 78 in three months. Remember this song from high school.

The best of times. Bobby socks, blue jeans, music, cars, and the drive-in.

The song, the thin/tall females, the cars, the clothes, all strike a nostalgic chord in my soul.
