Their biggest hit was a cover of The Gladiola's "Little Darlin'." The Gladiolas version came out in the first week in February, 1957. In less then two weeks the Diamond's version was out.

The Gladiolas went on to become Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs who hit big a few years later with "Stay". I hope that Maurice was able to profit by the songwriter credits for the Diamonds' recording, as was the case with Fats Domino from Pat Boone's cover of his "Ain't That a Shame".
