How many Minecraft chests can I hide in this room? In today's Mumbo Jumbo Minecraft video, I build a hidden minecraft chest base. This hidden Minecraft base transforms a regular Minecraft build into a hidden Minecraft storage system. If you're looking for ways to hide your valuables in Minecraft, create secret storage systems, or have secret Minecraft chests, then you'll enjoy this video.

The goal was to hide as many chests as possible, and making an entrance/exit would have reduced the number.
YOU STAY IN THIS ROOM WITH YOUR SECRET STUFF FOREVER.

It’s always a good Mumbo video when he’s too busy with redstone to ask the question “how do I get in and out of this room”

I like how Mumbo spent a long time hiding chests in a room, but forgot to make a door into the room

I love that mumbos videos technically have no real point to em but in each and every video he still manages to convince me that all his videos have vital information that i must learn.

Only Mumbo would do this amount of great redstone work and forget that the room needs a door.

I’m not a redstoner. I like collecting flowers, getting pets, building anything from cottages to castles, terraforming, and the occasional wither fight. So watching Mumbo make these things is like MAGIC.

If anyone was wondering, there are 345 chests hidden in this room. There are 168 double chests and 9 single chests. 40 double chests in the floor, 40 in 2 walls, 14 in the other 2, 20 in the ceiling outer ring, and 9 single chests in the inner ring.

Mumbo: It's bright red, it's basically screaming "Hide chests in me"
Me, wearing a bright red shirt: *actively panicking and locking my doors*

Love the fact that they're all hidden when you are inside the room. But when you are outside the house - they are very much not hidden and in fact the complete opposite. They're just sitting in a field

For people that are still wondering how many chests there are?
Inside a floor = 40 double chests
On the roof = 20 double chests
Walls = 18*2 + 40*2 = 80 double chests
Total = 176 double chests or 352 normal chests

seeing mumbo doing what he enjoys most and not forcing himself to make a specific type of video makes some of the best minecraft content

I love that he designed this contraption himself for hours and is still overwhelmed and fascinated by it.

While I miss his Hermitcraft content, I am glad that Mumbo has still found ways to enjoy creating content without burning out

I wanna see this in Hermitcraft, but like 100 times bigger throughout the entire base. Then Mumbo invites someone over and is like, "oh, I forgot to get that out of my storage system! Just a sec" and flips a lever which reveals thousands of chests hidden in every wall, nook, and cranny of the base all at once, and the person is like o.O and Mumbo just brushes it off like, "okay, got it, let's go!" and flies away

I miss hermitcraft as much as any Mumbo enjoyer. But it's so clear that Mumbo is enjoying making this type of content so much more, and that makes the videos so fun!

whats really nice is, while the whoel room together might be a bit silly, different parts are totally useable! I'm thinking about adding the floor or ceiling into my VH base

One of the reasons I love underground bases so much is due to the freedom you have with redstone. Projects like this wouldn't require a huge exterior to hide all the redstone just to have a small interior because all the blocks and redstone is already hidden. I would love to see you build an underground base with redstone contraptions all over the place that can hide/open rooms and watch their confusion as a path they just went through has changed

“How many chests could I hide in this room?” is generally the first thing that pops into my head when I walk into a new space, which I realize is slightly weird…”

No Mumbo, we know who your Minecraft friends are, that’s reasonable.

Knowledge is being able to hide chest from the inside of a room

Wisdom is realizing that they're fully visible to anyone _outside_ of the room

Enlightenment is putting a door somewhere in the room

I love this. It's crazy to see how far Piston contraptions have come since slime/honey blocks were added.
