Throughout Skyrim, you'll find a multitude of chests that shouldn't be accessible, and yet, are. Here are out 5 secret chests hidden throughout Skyrim, how to find them, and what they have for you to loot.

Don’t forget. Thieves Guild hideout has like 6 chests alone. Treat it like the final chest, use a plate on the door to slip through.

Update: you can literally do this with any section in the game with a trader or square.

I really hope you see my comment because I know where a hidden chest is that I truly believe nobody else knows about. I believe this because I searched all the videos for hidden chests to see if I could find more and all the videos mention the ones you do but they never mention this one chest that is honestly my favorite as someone that loves soul gems. I am posting this since I don't make YouTube videos and I figured you could investigate this chest and make a video to show others where this chest is. I was just thinking it really is a shame that nobody knows where this chest is because it is awesome. It isn't even a chest that is reached by a glitch. It is so EASY to get to. I'll try to give directions as best I can and PLEASE let me know if you found it and then I would really love it if you made a video showing people where it is.

The chest is in the Hall of Countenance in the College of Winter hold. Upon entering the Hall of Countenance, the center room directly in front of you which has what looks to me like frost rising up out of a circular well contains the chest. Walk just into that room and look at the ground. There are 8 lines on the ground on either side of the different rooms that are reached by the center room. The chest is on one of those lines. Turn directly to the right and go to the 3rd line away from the door you just entered from Skyrim. Crouch down and put your cursor directly in the middle of that 3rd line. Drag it up the middle until you see the chest.

The last time I looted the chest it contained 500 gold, soul gems ranging from petty-grand filled and not filled, scrolls, staff or two, and restoration robes ranging from apprentice to master, as well as all manner of restoration spell tomes.
