i didnt really think too much about cassie when i first watched the series but after watching this part again i think im gonna tear up :( she just wants someone to care about her. another thing is how sometimes educators are so shit at their jobs, its not just about passing on a formal knowledge but its also about real shit like this. it was so touching when doug didnt even ask and joined them, you can tell hes just a genuine guy. i hate the other one in generation 2, was kind of an asshole.

the thing i love about skins is that: doug has been present throughout every generation. in gen 3, he states to liv “once i danced to help a girl get through an exam.” he was talking about this episode with cassie. also, in the garage scene at the start of gen 2, cook mentions “anwar the magnificent”, who is featured in skins gen 1 as well. there are so many more easter eggs, but the producers and overall everyone in this show do a great job of stating previous references. this makes the show more interesting and intriguing to watch.

1:40 i love the Teacher's hand with some struggle, it really tells a lot without showing much, a simple gesture that says a lot about the character.
2:52 Incredible reaction, in this point, the whole philosophy/mindset of Cassie's changes completely.

I'm so glad I have the originals of skins with the original songs. Some of those moments were PERFECT with the original songs and cannot be replicated. Shame about them not being able to obtain the rights

I don't know why everyone is hating on this song. Feels like it's only getting hate for not being the original. It's a good tune and the lyrics even reflect their conversation and Cassie in general.
