Are You Bothering People?

There’s a difference between being uninterested and being bothered by someone. When disinterested, we are not trying to avoid people. We love them as they are and choose to invest our time elsewhere. There is nothing personal about it. When we are bothered by someone, we have suppressed energy around it. It is typically the energy of anger. We hold onto the belief that what they are doing is wrong.

In reality, there is no good or bad. There is just Isness. In this state, we recognize that all of reality just Is. Some of us may believe that if we release this feeling by being bothered by someone, we will lose our sense of safety or control of the situation. The paradox is that we become more safe and have more control.

We have more safety and control because releasing the energy gives us more clarity over the situation. Have you ever had a situation where someone was angry at you? It feels like they are not seeing the whole case or don’t quite fully understand what’s going on. Misunderstanding happens when we are bothered by someone. We prevent ourselves from seeing the full situation, having less control and less safety.
