How to Disable Forced Auto Update on Samsung phone 2022

This video will show you How to Disable Forced Auto Update on Samsung phone 2022.
And if you have another android phone you can use this trick to to stop automatic updates on Android.
- On your Android phone, tap Settings.
- Tap Software Update.
- Tap the gear cog.
- Tap Auto Download & Install.
- Tap Do Not Allow.
- Automatic OS updates are now disabled so you'll need to install them manually in future.

Just FYI this DOES NOT stop security updates on Samsung devices anymore, and has not for years. Just had another Security update forced this week, and this option has been turned off for quite some time.

Finally. I had to follow all the way though. Toggling on auto updates, then off and then to top and turn off. That was the final step and it worked at last.

when i go to the software update setting, i have two options, download and install, and last update, there is no option to turn off auto updates. i was late to work in my first week starting a new job because the phone updated while i was asleep and reset my morning alarms... i really wish i could choose when to update on my own....

These updates are getting ridiculous. There was one last week and now another one today. Before the one last week, I basically had a camera that didn't work since the update before that one for a month or two.

Ok so my phone is Samsung A12 and I'm literally using it right now. So back a few weeks ago, I checked on my settings and it said there's and update available which is the new One UI 4.1 (Android 12) so I head to the software update settings and started the download. But, I then I thought that this may damage my phone like battery drain, optimization problems, etc. Then I quickly stopped it and until now, it's still like up to 7% or so and the time left is 17:14. Btw, I followed all instructions in the vid and still doesn't work.

I think they changed it so you can't turn em off anymore with Samsung. I've looked everywhere and watched multiple videos. What you guys are clicking on simply does not exist on my phone. And it auto updated 2 weeks ago

So my phone only gives me the option to download over wifi or over wifi and cellular. I'm not able to choose to do neither

the fix does NOT work. When I clikck on Software Update, the next screen does not give me the option to toggle off. Every one of the videos i watch does NOT works before the setttings are never the same. Even on exact models.

I can't see what you're doing! I am on my phone trying to turn off updates on my phone. But anyway, for what it's worth, I turned off the options under developer options, and somewhere else. I restarted the phone. And I am still scheduled for an update at 5:20am!

None of these really work. At first I thought this one did, but they still FORCED the update. I'm beyond irritated & tired of samsung/galaxy. I won't be getting another one. Their forced updates also kills your storage then they'll try to blame you for your phone acting up saying that you've used too much storage as to why your phone is malfunctioning. NO, I had plenty of storage until the updates. They send a update almost every week. Actually, I just had 2 within the last 3 days. Tf! 🤬🤬🤬🤬

OK, what I did was put play speed at .25 this way I could keep up with him. Everything is all set, hope it works!

The only options on my Note 20 Ultra in software update is to download update or continue update. It doesn't show what your screen shows.
